So, how does the Lifecard app fit in?
When you register for Lifecard Patient Portal through one of our partners, a Lifecard Health Record account is automatically created
Conveniently access your medical records wherever you go
Easily add sub-accounts to your account for your family’s records
Store all your health-related information in one app, including allergies, medication, health measurements, immunisation records and documents
After your appointment your Lifecard account will remain active, you can continue to track your most important measurements and health records via the personal health record app.
Information such as allergies and medication, which you entered to your Patient Portal form will remain saved in your Lifecard Health Record and app.
This gives you 24/7 access to all your health information wherever you are – even after you have completed your visit to the hospital or clinic.
Don’t want to keep your Lifecard?
That’s okay, we realise that not everyone wants to keep their account. You can delete your account altogether once your admission or appointment is complete.
If you want to keep your account so that you can access prior forms in your Patient Portal, you can just turn off the ‘sync to Lifecard’ feature.
This means that your account login will still exist, but none of your allergies and medications will be saved for next time. If you have more questions about Lifecard Patient Portal, view our Patient Portal section on the FAQ page, or contact us for more information.
