An Electronic Health Record to empower consumers to take the control of their own health and wellbeing. Lifecard allows patients to capture data from a variety of sources, so their healthcare providers and themselves have a holistic view of all their health data in the one app. It enables clinicians and patients to engage more effectively together to improve health outcomes.
What industry problem / challenge are you tackling?
Data security is a common theme among online platforms. Lifecard is personally owned by the consumer/patient, and only they can grant access to anyone to view their record. Data in Lifecard is stored in compliance with Australian standards.
What is unique about your product in your market?
Patients can manage their health as well as the health of their family and dependants, share their information with healthcare providers and other Lifecard users, store all their health information and communication securely, access their Lifecard records anywhere and any time, from any device, update their records on the go via the Lifecard app or via a web browser, or create accounts for children, dependants or elderly to better manage everyones health all from the one app. It is also personally owned, and not owned by the Government.
What does success look like for the company?
Encourage behavioural change, enable consumers to manage or maintain their own health, grow a connected health record by connecting patients to their care teams, improve decision making by providing information for more informed decisions, to put the patient at the centre of the healthcare eco-system.
